What is the CHIP BARONS' BALL?
Put simply, it is the annual dinner and dance of the Peterborough Branch of the National Federation of Fish Friers. But in reality it is much more.

Over the years the Ball has become the best attended and the most prestigious of all social functions in the fish and chip industry, so much so that tickets are now limited to 290. Guests regularly include the "movers and shakers" in the industry. You can rub shoulders with the finalists in the Seafish Fish and Chip Shop of the Year competition and the Drywite Young Fish Frier of the Year competition as well as NFFF Enterprise Award winners. Also represented at the Ball are representatives of companies who supply goods and services to the trade and who see the Ball as a great night out and an excellent opportunity to fly the corporate flag.

We are offering the opportunity to a few select suppliers to the trade to contribute sponsorship to the Chip Barons Ball and I hope that after reading the benefits below yours will become one of these companies.

So what's in it for you?

• Your company's name, telephone number and a few words of description will feature in a half page advertisement about the Ball in the Fish Friers Review. This magazine will be circulated to 8,500 fish and chip shops in December.
• Your company‚s name and logo will be included in an advertisement about the ball in both the October and November editions of the „Fish and Chips and Fast Food‰ magazine.
• We will be distributing Press Releases about the Ball to the trade magazines. These will name your company as one of the sponsors of the Ball.
• Your company's name and logo will feature in the full colour menu, which will be given to every guest at the Ball.
• Your company's name and logo will feature in a computer-generated presentation, which will be projected onto an 8ft. x 6ft. screen and will run throughout the evening of the Ball.
• Your company‚s name will be attached to one of the prizes in the tombola indicating that you are the donor of that prize. This prize will be purchased by us.
• You will be offered FREE advertisements for one year in our own local newsletter "CHIP CHAT" which is distributed to all the fish and chip shops in the Peterborough Branch area.
• A link to your own website will be placed on this website.
• Any company allying itself to the Ball inevitably attracts the kudos, which comes with being associated with the industries major social function.
• And all we are asking as your contribution for all these benefits is £500.
